Data Scientist Generalist

You will creatively utilize data to address business challenges, frequently unveiling novel and game-changing prospects in the process. By employing advanced analytics, quantitative tools, and modeling techniques, you will analyze data and provide recommendations rooted in the insights you extract.

As a data science generalist, you adeptly handle tasks from linear regression to large language models, using the necessary tools with enthusiasm. If faced with something new you eagerly embrace the opportunity to learn, whether from colleagues or through self-directed, autodidactic efforts.

You gained your knowledge via a Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related degree and you have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Science/Machine learning in a business setting.

You are the Data Scientist we are looking for if you are:

• An Expert in Programming and ML Technologies: You are skilled in programming languages in particular Python with hands-on experience deploying ML packages such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy, TensorFlow, PyTorch in real-world settings. Your expertise extends to Data Analysis tools, and any additional experience in MLOps and SQL is a definite plus.
• Passionate Data-Driven Problem Solver: You have a strong passion for data-driven modeling and have proven to be able to solve complex problems by leveraging your expertise in statistical and data-mining techniques.

Then your responsibilities could be:

• You will join our Data Science Team. Our goal is to understand the client’s business and how Data Science can be applied to generate value by enhancing efficiency, and profitability or even transforming the client's business.
• Apply specialized skills and fundamental data science methods (data wrangling, classification, regression, modeling, application, and visualization with Machine Learning at the core) to develop solutions from scratch to prototypes that improve our client's business.
• Define and advance best practices within data science and product teams and help foobar live out the value of striving for excellence.
